Origanum
Oregano is a herb from the mint family. People used it for thousands of years to add flavour to a variety of dishes especially dishes of Mediterranean origin. Oregano pairs well with tomato and is often featured on pizzas, pasta sauces and marinades and stuffings. It is also commonly used in baked dishes, roasted vegetables, legumes such as lentils and chickpeas, fish, chicken and meat. |
