Fennel Seeds
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), also known as saunf, is a flowering plant species that comes from the same family as dill, anise, parsley and cumin. It is a hardy, perennial herb with yellow flowers and feathery leaves. The seeds are roughly 4 to 8 mm in length and each one looks like a grooved or ridged grain of rice. The seeds are nutritious as it yields a wide array of essential vitamins and minerals ranging from vitamin C to magnesium, potassium, and even iron. Not only is fennel nutritious, it’s delicious too.
